I lost my parents a few years ago, my mother to a very planned suicide (20 years in advance) and my father to complications of dementia. While their legacy lives on with me in deliberate and unconscious ways, and as I struggle with my own vision loss due to glaucoma, I try my best to move on through the past and into the present with love.
